Of all the albums I recorded with Ray Barretto, this is the one: "Rican / Struction". A latin masterpiece, it was too hip for the general salsa buying public. Arrangements by Oscar Hernandez, Eddie Martinez, Gil Lopez, Dick Mesa.

The Loading Zone appeared countless times at the Fillmore West in the late '60's. We opened for all the name acts including Janis Joplin and Cream. This was a Tower of Power type band - tight R&B with horns. At that time, the Tower was still calling itself the Motowns. Unfortunately, this record has long been out of print.

"Emotions": One of 11 CD's of Production Music composed for the Valentino Music Library. Not jazz but film score cues.

A double CD, one with the tenor, one without. A very hip quintet featuring pianist Kevin Hayes, and drummer Greg Burrows. If you want to play along with this quintet, go to Sam Ash or any other music store to buy the complete package. It's a Music Minus One CD entitled "Tenor Jazz Jam".Also available minus drums entitled "Open Session with the Greg Burrows Quintet".
